The Revell PB4Y decal markings are for an early Privateer named Tortilla Flat which looks all very attractive on the box top with sharkmouth markings and plenty of air-to-air gunnery going on. But the reality is that Tortilla Flat was one of the earliest PB4Ys and featured the MPC A6 forward turret (as I believe was mounted on the B24J Liberator) rather than the ERCO 250 SH turret as supplied in both the kit and the Cobra detail set. Furthermore, Tortilla Flat was a training aircraft and there is considerable doubt whether any of the turrets ever mounted a gun at all. This meant that I had to create my own markings...
